The Eel and the Cat by Keith Gunderson Oil ~ 12 x 24

There is a French book from 1835 that contains the same phrase "L'Anguille et le chat", translation is something like "nature rallied to the good and attached the series (?) to man, by the eel and the cat; one a very precious fish, the other by domesticity" (by Nick Walker)
